What is an Area: An 'Area' defines sensors that are grouped together in a particular which will be reflected in your Dashboard view and reports.

To change the Area, Soil, or Species type, you will have to create a new area within you Mobile App. Then all of the sensors under the old area will have to be moved to the new area. To do so:

  1. Click on the "Pin Marker" of the sensor you want to change within your mobile app on your device. A pop-up will appear

2. Click on the blue "Actions" button

3. Click "Edit Context"

4. At the bottom of the Edit Context page, click on the "Area Name". A pop-up will appear

5. You will have to recreate the area you are trying to change the Area, Soil, or Species type in. To do this click the "+" in the upper right of the pop-up.

6. Type in the name you would like for the new area. For example, if you would like to change the soil type in 2 green, you would have to recreate 2 Green ‘Area’ . You could give it a slightly different name to differentiate the two areas such as 2 greenB or 2 Green, or it could be written exactly the same, but it could be more confusing this way.

7. Change the Area, Soil, and Species type to the corrected type

8. Click "Save" in the create new area pop-up

9. Click "Save" in the edit context pop-up

10. If there are additional sensors you would like in the new area, follow #1-4 again, then click on the newly made area you would like the 2nd sensor to go under.

11. Click "Save"

12. Repeat steps #10 & #11 for each additional sensor you would like to go under this new area.
